You can pass all the laws you want and CRIMINALS still won't obey them.

Democrats don't care who comes into this country as long as they vote for them. :|

Who's the idiot ??? :?

Last week you went ten mph faster in your vehicle than the law allows. Now you are the criminal.

The framers of the Constitution didn't write the second amendment with the intention to arm terrorists and criminals.

The gun industry, the NRA, the vast majority of the Republican party and their members/supporters have become enablers of criminals and terrorists. Too bad the mid-term elections weren't right now. How many more children and those in law enforcement have to die before these people get their heads out of their posteriors and do the right thing?

Enough is enough.

Right, I must be high because just now, people are figuring out that criminals break laws. No shit. Why don't you try to turn that into an good argument, cuz no one has made it worth an argument yet.

Oh, btw, while I may often agree with SB, I don't agree with him OR bravo/pedro on this debate, if it can be called that.

No problem, I'd say Captain Linger, but you wouldn't get it.

If you already know that criminals break the law , why would you pass more laws and not enforce the ones already on the books?

You seem smarter than that RK.

:?

The framers of the constitution wrote it for people that OBEY it .

You're easily confused aren't you , SB ?

:?

In the breaking news thread, the possibility that the Boston bombers may have got their guns from the black market was raised. assuming that is indeed the case, where did the black market get the guns from?

If you want to get rid of cancer, you have to remove it from the original source.

There's no confusion to the fact that the NRA, the gun lobby, ther industry and the polititians,e members and supporters are enablers of gun crime. It's like filling the room full of rapists at a strip club.

The "frame of mind" and "crime is commited by criminals" arguments are D.O.A.

Do you realize that the largest maker of AK-47's recently opened a plant in Venezuela ?

Are you going to go after them too SB?

Tell me what ' magical ' law that you want written that would stop criminals from getting guns anywhere in the world.

There isn't one. It takes a certain ' mindset ' to want to break a law that is already written.
So do you want to go after guns or ' mindsets ' ?

Easy answer if you know how to think clearly.

I might be and that's why the courts define misdemeanors and felonies differently.

SB it is no wonder you don't understand our country's gun control laws or even the history of guns in general where did you get your education? One place black market guns come from is theft either home theft business or even armory, the later is where Clyde barrow got his BAR's. lately our government engaged in a plan called fast and furious which backfired as they could not trace the guns they GAVE away, come on man get real. Mid term elections indeed!!!

More excuses and arguments that are DOA.

It all leads right back to this ------> States with Higher Gun Ownership and Weak Gun Laws Lead Nation in Gun Death

Let's get rid of all kids so there won't be any pedophiles.

Let's get rid of all metal so there won't be any copper or aluminum thefts.

Let's get rid of cars and trucks so there won't be any auto thievery.

Let's get rid of cocks and vagina's so there won't be any unplanned pregnancy's or abortions.

Let's get rid of books so people won't get smarter.

Let's get rid of schools so there won't be any temptation to kill anybody.

Hell , let's just blow the planet up so there will be no one left to commit a crime.

Your brain is DOA spaceduster

Neither of you guys have a legitimate argument.

94 percent of licensed dealers approached as part of undercover stings at gun shows in Ohio, Tennessee, and Nevada, completed sales to people who appeared to be criminals or straw purchasers --------> http://www.bradycampaign.org/facts/gunt ... s=1#CityNY

Mandatory background checks on ALL purchases and transfers for starters...

DID YOU KNOW? Guns can be sold in the United States without a background check to screen out criminals or the mentally ill.
•It is estimated that forty percent of gun acquisitions occur in the secondary market.
•Sales from federal firearm licensees (FFLs) require a background check. Sales between individuals, under federal law, do not require a background check. This means that felons can “lie and buy” at gun shows and other places where guns are readily available.

SOLUTION: We need to make it harder for convicted felons, the dangerously mentally ill, and other prohibited persons to obtain guns by implementing strong gun laws and policies that will protect our families and communities from gun violence.

It's unfortunate that you find gun deaths funny.

bottom line -----> States with Higher Gun Ownership and Weak Gun Laws Lead Nation in Gun Death

It's an irrefutable fact period. Neither of you guys have a winning argument in this debate, and you never will.

Fact is that the link you provide also correlates with the link I provided earlier that clearly show more criminal gun activity in those states as well.

You seem to miss the obvious in your thinking.

Did you ever get a formal education besides the ' everyone is special ' mentality ?

I know you are quite a bit younger and were forced the ' everyone needs to feel like they're a winner ' education , but , come on.

The obvious is, that less guns and stricter gun laws do work. You don't have to have a degree or to even be a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

Incidently, I do have a degree in quantitative analysis. I was in a four year post graduate program and recieved a BA. As desperate as you are to try to gain an upper hand with a losing argument by turning this debate into something about me won't work.
