I wish they'd release the DVDs with the videos, some of the funniest parts of the show were when B & B would comment on the videos. I bought bootleg copies on eBay but the quality is shitty. I was so excited when they brought it back a couple years ago and then nobody picked it up so i think there were only 4 new episodes and they were really good.

I heard a rerun of Howard Stern recently when Mike Judge was on. He was a great interview, he'd go back and forth between his own voice and Beavis & Butthead. MTV really fucked him over. Fuck MTV!

So, are these out of print now or something? I bought all of these right after that last season you mentioned, which I believe was 2011? Volume 4 is actually that last season, and contains 2-132 minute DVDs. Volume 1 even has the "Frog Baseball" skit that launched the show.

I don't know what you have there but when I bought the DVD's on Amazon a few years ago, they don't have the music videos on them.

Remember when Beavis & Butthead watched the video for You Are What You Is?

I never sit down on the subway. Why, you ask? Well, I have two very good, valid reasons:

1) I don’t know who was sitting in the seat before me. They are cloth seats on the LA subway and there are a decent amount of questionable/stinky people on the subway and I ain’t putting my butt in the same place as some pissed-pants, homeless stinkhole.

2) Standing up against the wall in my big, dark sunglasses enables me to keep an eye on everything. I get on in the middle of the car so I have good visuals of the entire car and if a questionable/smelly person gets too close or does something that makes me nervous, I can get away fast.

That’s logical thinking, right?

Absolutely, you have to be on your toes in a big city, very good thinking...

Do you have any quirks, for example I always have to write with a pen with black ink… :?

Maybe, this will explain it for you. Mike Judge actually changed some of the episodes on my version, but the music videos are there.

Beavis and Butt-head: The Mike Judge Collection is notable in that it is one of the few times that a home video release of the show has retained music video segments. All prior VHS and DVD releases have lacked these segments except for the VHS releases of Beavis and Butt-head Do Christmas, Hard Cash and Too Dumb for T.V., and the last disc of the second and last Time-Life set, presumably due to the difficulty involved in acquiring music rights for the videos. This last disc, entitled Hard Cash, appeared to have made room for four music videos since it contained half the episodes (one VHS worth) of most of the other volumes (typically the combination of content formerly occupying two VHS tapes).

Absolutely logical to be on your toes. I always eat lunch in the corner with my back to the wall. You can't be prepared, if you don't see it coming.

I always write with a blue pen, so I can tell my original from a copy.

Oh god yes, where do I begin.

I always have to write with a dull pencil unless I have to sign something in ink. I don't like my pencil too sharp.
The second I get one little chip in my nail polish, something nobody else would notice, I obsess over it until I get all of my nail polish off and re-do it. I'm a freak about well kept nails. When I see a guy with long finger nails, it's an instant turn off. And dirty nails.....don't even get me started.
I'm somewhat of a germaphobe. I won't touch door handles, subway handles, etc. Money disgusts me and if I touch it, I wash my hands the first water I see. I probably use hand sanitizer too much.

There's more....so much more.

Been away from the forums lately, catching up here and there.
1) My wife is the same way with movie theaters.... being a filmmaker this is a point of contention.
2) Philo, next time your in Nashville, we have "glass" everywhere now. Marley's smoke shop, West End Cigars etc... EVERYWHERE.
3) I guess I should ask Zappagirl a question since this is her thread after all... "How are you today?"

I'm just super, thanks for asking. Sitting at my desk, eating a salad and looking at all of the people with umbrella drinks swimming in the roof top pool at the Standard.

I'm caught in a fingernail dichotomy, long on the right hand short on the left, all in the name of guitar manipulation....At work there a number of forms for our customers to complete, during the process I tend to use my left hand to indicate the sections for completion, so as no to draw attention to the claws located on my right hand. Low maintenance left, high maintenance right. Break a nail and it's hang up the guitar for a week or two...It's a pain in the arse (ass). But, as they say "wadda ya gonna do" :P

If I may, zappagirl, I'll take this one...
break the habit - cut those nails down - toughen up those fingertips.
I used a thumbpick for years, and always had issues with it - accuracy, getting it caught etc.
One day I decided to never use it again and within a couple of weeks I had adjusted completely.
Ok, the tone will be different - but different doesn't mean worse.
TT

I tried a thumb pick for a very short while. It's good for some, but not for me.

But anyway, so I don't hijack this thread - Zappagirl.

Thank you, it was a good day! I managed to get in a 2 hour hike during my workday.

And I saw a rattlesnake skin.

Originally I'm from Pennsylvania. I've been in LA for 11 years.

Believe me, I made sure the snake was nowhere near the skin. I want no part of meeting a rattlesnake up close.

Zappagirl - what does your Zappagirl suit look like? Do you have superpowers? Do you have a trusty sidekick? Are you really from Pennsylvania or is that just where your Earth parents adopted you? Thank you for answering my questions and for keeping the world safe for Zappa music.
