Zappa.com

I was fortunate to attend the Thing-Fish concert in London yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised, especially after the warning that it is an 'adaptation' of Zappa's original. The changes seemed minimal. My cheeks were aching after the show from perma-smiling and laughing-out-loud at times. The 'orgy' scene with Rhonda fucking her briefcase has to be seen to be believed. Full marks to the production company and BAC for staging it (and for Gail's permission). I noticed that someone (official looking) was recording the show by camera from the rear. I would love to get a copy. My only complaint would be the sound quality at times (but that would be nit-picking). I hope the show makes it the West-End theatres (it would be brilliantly ironic). Just hope they will keep the 'cheapness' of the props then.
