complain vociferously and at great length. Be prepared with arguments as to why Zappa always played there or maybe what a shame it is that he never played there. There is such a loyal fan base. Post this on the forum in a highly visible spot. Like here or Zappa concerts. Don't be above whining. Maybe it will work, who knows?

Well, it's possible but unlikely that the ZPZ tour will play Memphis. You see, FZ only played there three or four times - the last being at the Orpheum Theater (2,300) on the '84 tour. And considering what the ZPZ tours' current average ticket price is (basically $50 USD) compared to the '84 tours' ($14-$15) and assuming the '84 tour show was sold out, it means that there would be less than 700 tickets sold if they did play Memphis. Under the same circumstances as above, they could however charge what the ZPZ tour did in Detroit a few months back (about $29 USD average) and that would make the Orpheum Theater half full...
