How do I get Zappa Radio to run in Windows XP? Windows Media Player does not recognise the .pls format. If Zappa Radio will not run in Windows, what should I do to get it to play?

My XP with IE 6.0 poppen up a message that some (unrecognizable program) was needed. I downloaded it automatically, and presto, things worked.

Thanks! Got it working with Winamp. I use the Mozilla Firefox browser and not Internet Explorer which may be why I didn't get a prompt.

Now here's a question actually for the guys employed at ZFT. Why isn't this advice on zappa.com under FAQ or on the Zappa Radio page??

It's a way for them to recoup some of the losses incurred during the Fanatical Strike Flag action.

Did anyone listen to the Beat the Boots today? What was played? I, along with almost everyone else in the U.S., was at work, and therefore, could not listen. Could they have picked a worse time?

I suppose, here in Adelaide, I could have chosen to get up at 4:30AM to listen to it, but I decided not to.

I have reservations about paying money at a site that pops up and have no apparant relationship to Zappa Radio. Another new thing that just gets fucked up from the beginning? (Waiting for Gary to come up with fidelity lecture now :D )

well i looked into it, the site is like an xm type service but through online and zappa radio is now a station on it. It looks like they have car receivers but I'm not sure. I would consider doing it if i didn't own every album. (inlcuding most beat the boots)

Maybe you were too busy choking your chicken because my media player has no problem whatsoever streaming Zappa Radio.

Coincidentally at this very moment
on ZAPPA RADIO

Frank Zappa - Marqueson's Chicken [7:34] - Them Or Us

“Music Is The Best” - That's right folks, you heard Right. Don't touch that dial! Zapparama & Randomonium too. Puts the Hrz on your nose. KILL UGLY RADIO!!!!!
