Hello,
My 6 year old son would like to learn King Kong on piano. The melody is beautifully simple, but alas, I'm even simpler and not beautiful. As a result, at least in part, I can't transcribe it very well.

Does anyone know of a decent transcription? Not one of those dummy guitar tab thingys, because my intense lack of beauty precludes me from understanding those. A real score type transcription would be swell, plus, my 6 year old could read it.

Thanks,
Mr. Highmen

For what it's worth, I practiced denting my children from an early age with my favorite FZ melodies. "You can Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance", "Peaches En Regalia", "Holiday in Berlin Full Blown", "Igor's Boogie", "Electric Aunt Jemima".

So, for lack of radio play, my kids have suffered undoo amounts of my paltry warbling.

Also, thanks for the ZPZ tours. Don't let the vampiric pedants get you down.

The King Kong and Uncle Meat melodies are in the booklet that comes with the double CD Uncle Meat release.

Yes, I have been around a while. Telnet was clumsy, http is so much easier.
But the tradition far exceeds my experience with da innerweb. It's roots for me reside in the Halcyon daze of Reed where we'd sit around stoned and subscribe to magazines under aliae. Some notable names of that time were:
Moe Lester
Jenny Tol
Bill Meleighter
Seymour Brests
Justin Case
Hugh Jass
Clea Nundewer

and cartons of collection notices more. All collection notices were signed by Seymour Cardoza. So of course, given the nature of autoincrimination, Seymour Cardoza sent a collection note to Seymour Cardoza and the Universe was complete.
