I was extremely lucky to see FZ at the Terrace Ballroom in Salt Lake City in 1981. A dream fulfilled, lost underwear and a great show-one of the last at this grand old venue behind the zion curtain. Frank was such a multi faceted, amazing artist and musician. I treasure my FZ vinyl and look forward to purchasing as many vault releases as possible. That said, I also treasure the incredible body of work of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. Should we compare these artists? Put down one over another? I think that kind of engagement is ill advised and disrespectful to the muse. There is no comparison. I enjoy the artistic output of many musicians but FZ and JG have changed my life, made me the person I am today. Good and weird. Strange is good and these gifted musicians embody the best weird that has ever been out there. Thank you and good luck Gail and family in getting FZ's musical legacy back to all of us who so dearly miss him.

The B side of Ticket To Ride. John said it was one of his least favorite compositions.
