Can't answer your question, but thought I should point out that you only need one Activation thread post to join the forum. The Activation thread doesn't work like the rest of the forum, you can't post replies there so there's no point asking questions there either. The Activation thread is just for joining the forum, once you've done that you can post anywhere else in the forum you want, where people can answer your questions and respond to your posts.

As to your comment about Muffin Man, it's certainly one of my favourite Zappa solos. Both my sons love it too. The irony there is that when they're trying to get me to hear some of the music they like, they usually play them so many times that the repetition eventually kills it for me. Then they started listening to Zappa tunes, the more catchy ones like Muffin Man, Zomby Woof and We Are Not Alone and so on, over and over again, and that certainly put me to the test.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for contributing to my continuing education. I jumped in with my ADD in full bloom! I'm going to be asking alot of questions because I'm so curious about FZ. I am late to arrive at the important conclusion that he was a musical master who should be discussed, but more importantly, listened to. My six year old son is just like your boys. He's running around today singing "hey punk where you going with that flower in your hair!"
