Gail, maybe you know the whereabouts of a license palte that I gave to Frank after a Halloween concert in NYC ,1977. IT was an orange New York plate with FZ in blue. I once saw a picture of the einterior of your abode in a Life magazine with other plates on the wall.
Just wondered where it wound up. In Joe's Garage???
Can I get it back??

You should email her. Though that probably won't help either.

Do you have a list of confirmed personnel for the ZPZ October dates? These dates are not listed on Terry or Steve's websites so does this mean they will NOT be appearing at these new dates? Will there be different guests, and if so, who?

[color=darkred][size=18] Greetings! I have a question... I am thinking about forming a local Zappa tribute show, and want to know how to do it legitamitely. I have been in many "cover bands" through the years, none of which were in the habit of paying royalties, of course. I notice that some of the more successful groups in the area are tribute shows, (Kiss, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin...) I'm guessing that none of them pay royalties either... However, out of my deepest respect of Frank and how he conducted his business, (as well as his family and the way they carry on his business sense and artistic integrity,) I feel the only way to do this thing correctly would be under the direction of the ZFT in securing rights to perform the material in question. I read in the april/may '06 relix interview, where GZ claimed it would cost "cents on a dollar". How does one go about making an arrangement to establish a rate to become a licenced performer of Frank's music?

Hey guys (zft)

I believe there could be an issue with this particular cd.

I purchased and returned then recieved another cd and am returning
for a refund, the second cd!

The individuals that I talked to at music today were very professional,
helpfull and aware of my situation.

The reason for the return: Identical blemishes on the edge of the play side of the disks, when played, causes "skipping" of the music on the last two tracks of the cd. These tracks simply cannot be played! These are not scratches from the user. After finding the exact same blemishes on two different cds of the same product, I am thinking that this is a possilbe manufactured defect.

Are you aware of this? or am I the only one to "complain about this

Gail and Dweezil:

I'm sure you're aware that Ike has toured with Project/Object recently performing some of FZ's music. I have seen the band here in Chicago and they are rather entertaining. Have there been any conversations with Ike about including him or any of his bandmates in a future ZPZ tour? Just wondering. By the way, fantastic show in Chicago, 7/20/07!

Are any more tunes going to be uploaded to Zappa Radio? The playlist seems to be quite small and repeats itself quite frequently. Great to have it back though!
