leo kottke is good its shame he did that shit with mike gordon. I saw that part of the bonnaroo dvd and maybe that track wasnt an accurate representation of what they can do but that track BLEW. it was like mike wasn't listening at all to what leo was doing. he just kept vamping away very boringly and it never built. perhaps wouldve been better with a full band. the duo just sounded really weak.
