I'm betting my gums that Adrian Belew's singing those heavily-reverbed Elvis-style vocals. In my mind, it doesn't sound like any of the people listed as singing on that track, plus he sings the live version (to the best of my knowledge).

What do you think? Is this even relevant? Will I have to give up my gums? You decide!

Yeah, I always thought it was Patrick O'hearn too. I think if somebody proves you wrong that you could maybe just donate them to the gingivitically needy.

Well, in either case, whoever sang that part wasn't credited.

I'll keep my gums...for now.

Yeah, it certainly sounds like him on the bootlegs I've heard. I wonder why Zappa didn't give him credit.

It cetainly sounds like Belew ... with a hint of the Dylanesque tone...or even Elvis? " A frantic pace, maybe, but who's to say where it will go?"
