Zappa plays Zappa at the Roundhouse, London.
What a great nite ! even if the vocalist was trying tooooo hard to sound like Frank (and he didn't) and Jeff Simmons was a TAD under-rehearsed !! to put it mildly.
Not maybe as good a night as at the Albert Hall acouple of years ago, but more intimate, and all the better for that, Scheila was amazing !! (the new RUTH!!)
But WHERE was Ian Underwood ?! did I miss something ?? I really wanted to see the Mother that I hadn't seen since Birmingham in 1969. It was in the programme that he was going to be there, and on my Roundhouse T shirt, so..............??
