A couple of sky events...the first is for non-usaiean zappafans(:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Space Weather News for May 1, 2004
http://spaceweather.com

On Tuesday night, May 4th, sky watchers in Europe, Africa, South America
and Asia can see a total lunar eclipse. The full moon will glide through
Earth's shadow and turn a lovely shade of sunset-red. North Americans
won't be able to see the event--not directly--but they can view it over
the Internet. Visit Spaceweather.com for links to live webcasts of the
eclipse, along with visibility maps and more information.
----------------------------------------------------------------
and the second for all...

The above is only part of the info from this magazine:

There are "all sky" maps and text to make sure ya don't miss nuttin. This issue IS GOING OFF SALE MAY 3, TOMORROW, so if you want to get it, it'll have to be before tomorrow night, (they will pull it from the shelves on the third).
If you miss the issue on the shelf, the library will probably have it.

The NEXT issue will very likely have some info on these comets also, but I don't know what it will be, and since the better comet is reaching best vieweing in MAY, and they did the big write up in May, it will likely be best to have the May issue shown above. Gotta catch it today or tomorrow if you want it.

Here is the June issue that goes on sale on May 4th:

There is also another good magazine called "Sky & Telescope", but you'll need to move quick to get the May issue of that one too.
