I've been doing a lot of research on this topic during the past few months, and have come to the conclusion that it is extremely important to have a moustache.

Image

I base this conclusion on several pieces of scientific evidence:

1. Frank Zappa had a moustache

2. A lot of famous Norwegians had moustaches, for example:
Arne Garborg
Edvard Grieg
Johan Halvorsen
Knut Hamsun
Alexander Kielland
Vilhelm Krag
Edvard Munch
Arild Nyquist
Sigbjørn Obstfelder
Christian Sinding
Johan Svendsen
Arnulf Øverland

3. Other famous people also had moustaches, for example:
Salvador Dalí
Sergei Diagilev
Albert Einstein
William Faulkner
Nikolay Gogol
Martin Heidegger
Heinrich Himmler
Adolf Hitler
Thomas Mann
Friedrich Nietzsche
Fernando Pessoa
Edgar Allan Poe
William Shakespeare
Aleksandr Skiabin
Joseph Stalin
Igor Stravinsky
August Strindberg
etc.

This overwhealming documentation should remove all doubts one might have. I am convinced that the results of my scientific work says it all.

That's a great idea! If you don't mind looking like a cop, or a homo, or a 70s porn star, I'd say go for it!

No, but the Burt Reynolds mustache sort of goes that way.

Image

Smoking while laying on a skinned dead bear AND using his head as an arm rest...definitely a photo that was shot in the pre-PC days. ;D ;D ;D

But the truth remains, if you grow just a moustache with no other facial hair, you will look like a cop, a homo, or a 70s porn star. By the way, Hitler and Stalin fall into the "cop" category. Maybe instead of "cop" I should have a right wing, reactionary, fascist who is also a tyrannical, genocidal, totalitarian, absolutist despot. Somehow cop is easier to say.

If you want to "be yourself" and look like one of those things, then be my guest.
