And under what circumstances?

This afternoon while my kids rode their bicycles up and down the street, I sat on the porch with my walkman and listened to disc 2 of ZINY, starting with The Purple Lagoon, and then going back to track 1...when that disc was finished, I changed discs and listened to Cruisin For Burgers before we went inside.

Once inside I had just enough free time to listen to my own homemade version of Sleep Dirt which contains instrumental versions of all the songs...what a fuckin' great album!

How about you?

Don't get mad at me...but i haven't been listening to Uncle Frank's music for about 2 or 3 weeks now...
Two weeks ago I bought the Bob Dylan Live 1966 album (you know: The ''Royal Albert Hall'' performance...with an audience member yelling ''JUDAS!!!''...)
and i have been listening to that and other Dylan albums ever since...GREAT music.

I listened to a guitar solo billed as 'The Squirm' on a 4-CD bootleg set called Apocrypha.

I believe this solo was culled from an old King Biscuit show that was taped in London in '77. I think some of the cuts from those shows went into Sheik Yerbouti also.

The Odeon in Hammersmith was the venue, I believe.

I just bought Roxy on original US-vinyl. So, I heard for the first time the original Cheepnis-mix. Weird. I like it. Roxy is such a fine album, damn.
