Yeah, he wrote some Weird Al-type stuff in the 70s, put out a few comedy albums, one with a song about dogs peeing in the snow got played a lot when it first came out. Thought I heard he died in the 80s of a drug O.D. - I'm pretty sure he was mad into the drug scene.

Dude, he wrote a song about 'Titties and Beer'.

A sexist like that wouldn't have anything important to say on the human condition.

I think my dad has a couple of his albums... old fogey music.

That other guy who sings like he swallowed a pack of razorblades isn't much better. What's his name, Captain Fishstick...

Didn't he have something to do with the "warning label sticker" on albums and cd's?

That was more Dee Snider and John Denver. Mr. Zappa barely spoke.

Some folks aren't getting this, are they, Cal?

Yeah, I read that he got into Glam-rock in a big way and wore fake eyelashes his whole life. He never made it on the surfing set, he never made it on the beatnik set, and he couldn't cut the groupie set either - and he really fucked up in Europe. Apparently, when nobody else would accept him, he just went home to his mother, Rosemary Clooney.
