I HAVE to wear a mustache. The wife thinks I look much older without it.

And another thing, just to get this to the next page, I haven't shaved it off in probably 2 years.

Then somebody at work says that I look much younger without it. Damned if you do, etc. etc!

And I can't grow a beard either. It sucks.

I can't grow a beard either, no matter how hard I try.

I sit and strain and try as hard as I can but that fluff just won't grow. (are we on the next page yet?)

I've tried. But it just comes out looking pretty horrid.

Oh well, it's not a big deal or anything. I don't think I would like one anyway.

A goatee might be cool.

Since I'm balding anyway, just shave the head and grow a goatee. But that's kinda "conformist" nowadays.

And I'm not sure that would look good on me either.

Finally!

I understand why you edited your facial hair for the wedding, but I object to the notion that moustaches are not presentable.

On the contrary, Peerdiem
I wasn't trying to say that moustaches were not presentable. I just didn't want mine to be a filter for food and drink, especially in public. It can be annoying enough having food between my teeth let alone in my 'stache.

The good news is that now that I'm through with the wedding, I can grow it wild once again. Let's make monthly posts of our hairy progress.

Btw, did you have eyelid reduction surgery recently? Just joking

Well, we all have our preferences. I like it when delicious food and drinks gives my moustache a nice aroma. When I get rich, I´m going to rub bacon fat and Laphroaig whisky in it every morning.

I like the idea about monthly postings.

The problem with the eyelids is that I saw the movie Red Dragon the other day, in which the killer threatens to staple Philip Seymour Hoffman´s eyelids to his forehead if he didn´t open his eyes. I was horribly traumatized by that scene and have not been able to close my eyes since.

And check out this guys moustache. Beauty Knows No Pain!

I rarely shave my mustache & goatee off, because I look like I'm 16 when I do. (I'm 25.)

I haven't shaved for 5 weeks. Now I got a nice beard, but it's itching like hell. Besides there are a lot of grey hairs. Damn...
