I'm ordering a drawing. They're only $79 and you can name your subject. I've even offered to pay extra for color.

C'mon guys: Cal Schenkel played an integral role in the creation of FZ as we knew him. ZFT says he was just an employee who executed FZ's ideas, but we all know better.

Think of what his images have meant to you and support a living artist! You were gonna piss that $79 away on beer anyway.

Or...be a jerk and go to work!

I would really like to have at least one of these wonderful paintings. But there are two problems:

1. My wife

2. How could they ship the stuff (R&J or OSFA) safe to Europe ?

:? :? :? :? :?

Hi Fritz--
I can't do anything about your wife, but I assure you I can guarantee secure shipping to most anywhere in the world (certainly Europe).

Fritz:

I have a wife too. I asked Cal for a color drawing of the sofa from "OSFA" and he agreed. I offered a little more for color vs. line & wash.

Something that is both decorative and meaningful (to you anyway) should be able to get it past your household censor. Shipping an unframed drawing is not a big deal. Hang it in "your" space at home if there are still objections...

I found Cal very responsive and accomodating. Not necessarily what you expect from us artists. He's certainly entitled to our support.

Oh Man! I wish I had the money for that Grand Wazoo painting. Could you do one of those for $79.95?

I would soooooo love that one.

BROTHER--

I could do an 8x10" drawing of that. Of course you must realize it would be an interpretation--I wouldn't be able to render the illustration with the detail & exactitude (not to mention archaeological atmosphere) of the original for that price. :)

Don't forget postage.

Got them.
And they look Great.
I snapped a few crappy phone pics of them. The pictures aren't that good, but hopefully I will find the time to take proper pictures of them:

Yes that is mine.
I think it came out totally bitchen.
I love the Ruben one too, but I must confess that JABFLA is my all time fave album cover, and as you can see, Cal knocked it out of the park with my painting

Guess Cal liked it too, I can't wait to get it framed.
And to think, if you hadn't PM'd me to ask him to honor his original price, I wouldn't even have JABFLA
:mrgreen::

It was waiting for me when I got home today Calvin, and it looks fantastic! (I never noticed the cigar ash on the original until today.) Exactly what I had in mind. Many thanks!

I can't wait to get it on the wall and show if off. Maybe I can help send a little more business your way.
