I saw George Thorogood several years ago and when he introduced his band he did it something like this:

"Ladies and Gentleman, on saxophone: John Coltrane, on drums: Gene Krupa, on bass: Frank Zappa, on lead guitar: Miles Davis"

Don't know if if I got that 100% correct, but he definitely had Frank on bass. Kinda funny.

Ooops. I fouled up my Fowlers.

I want to add Denny Walley to the blues lineup on slide and move Roy from the rock group to the blue band, while I'm here.

Divide them into 4 "bands" and put one "band" on each side of the audience. VIOLA! Surroundsound!
How you would get them all tuned together, I have no idea.

Why pay for advice? You know they'll advise you to go ahead and sue anyway, and see what happens.

I came up with a mind-blowing band...at least for me:

Mike Patton - Vocals/Noises
Bumblefoot - Guitar/Vocals
Matias IA Eklundht - Gutar/Vocals
Les Claypool - Bass
Mike Portnoy - Drums
Stevie Wonder - Keyboards...

I imagine the whole thing as a new project, with new music...but they could do a Zappa Tribute and it surely be great.

Glad to see some of the old big band guys in there. Artie Shaw on clarinet of course.
I saw Zappa back in '77, unfortunately Flo and Eddie cancelled and the crowd was not happy.
