You have yet to succeed in pissing me off in your spamming of the board. If you are "ignoring" me, what else do you have to say? We already know that you're a dipshit. Got any new trains of thought?

on this new, updated forum, you can set up 'rules' for your messages.

I won't even see them!

so, bye, bye, asshole!

You did that too LG?

I didn't go to that length, but it's nice that it's there.

Neither did they. They're insane. One of them in particular has been actively replying to my posts just to say "I'm ignoring you, fuck you." These people are children.

You should hear him on "Dominance And Submission." He plays the bell while it's still on the cow...

One of the things that bugs me about this forum is that it bumps you off after a period of inactivity. The only reason it bugs me is that the way I like to use this forum is via the new posts link. It lists all the posts that have been created since you last logged on, which of course, if you get bumped off is updated to the next time you log on. Sometimes when I log on, I have to go off and do something important ( ... wheeze ...) and to come back and find you've been logged off with no easy way to retrace those recent posts is a bit annoying. Anyway, maybe a future upgrade will include a recent posts link that is not tied to your latest log in time.

For anyone who is interested, I have found a workaround: next time you're logged on, bookmark the "View new posts" link. Then, when you're logged off (because the "View new posts" link isn't displayed in the logged off state) just use the bookmark and it finds the latest 1000 posts. This is still a pain because it only works that way when you're off line. When I get bumped off like this I open the link in it's own window and then when I log back on again in a separate window I use the first page of new posts, which is the 50 most recent posts, opening ones I want to read into new windows so I don't lose the list.

Fuck, it's not actually that hard to do but now that I'm putting it into words ... oh well, let's hope they come up with a built in solution some time soon.

If you are offline you can click on View Active Posts and it will bring up all the active threads in order, whether you have viewed them before or not. Heck, you could even do that when you are online. I don't know if that helps, but it's an easy way to see what's happening.

Doh!! You do realise that's too easy!

It seems to go back about a week, which is more than enough. Why didn't I try that link before?

Mikey - is it possible to still have people activate in the Activation board and not show up on the View Unread Posts and View New Posts lists?
