My US Uncle Meat vinyl has the green and blue labels with the no's 2MS 2024 with the issue numbers 30,871 - 4.
It has a very thick card double sleeve, as thick as say Mothermania and it contains the booklet in almost mint condition.
A couple of questions:

The inner sleeves say Warner Brothers 1974 - does this mean that it's a re-issue or that it's an original but contains later inner sleeves?

Secondly, Is there any particular reason why on the last but one page of the booklet we have the following photos:
6. Jimmy carl Black
7. Bunk Gardner
2. Motorhead Sherwood

...but not the remaining band members. Is there a larger booklet available? Mine has a total of 3 sheets stapled together giving a total of 12 pages including the front and back.

I have a promo so mileage may vary.
My 12 page book has (on the unnumbered 10th page) in b/w JCB, Roy, Bunk, and Motorhead, with lettered names! the United Mutations address along the seam (between page 10 and 11). Then on page 11 is the big mess in b/w with the bubble of Frank saying ("This film is stashed away in my basement. ..") and The Jelly coming out of the door.
The last page is the rear of the vw with the mount rushmore in the back headed for the vatican in color.

hope this helps

Thanks Gents

Hmm, my inner sleeves are not any of these.
They are cream with the Warner Reprise "Loss Leaders" advertised on one side and an old B&W photo of Burbank from 1911. I think that these are later inners put in as the originals were perhaps lost.
Who gives a fuck! The number etched into the vinyl side 1 is: 1 30871 MS 2024A - 1B
Side 1 is backed with side 4 too.
Some of you guys seem to know a lot about vinyl, what was the purpose of this or was it an error at the pressing stage. I've seen it a couple of times, for eg with my UK Track Electric Ladyland.

It was for those who wanted to stack records on their turntable.

Check the the label on side 1. Is track 3 called "400 Days Of The Year" or "Nine Types of Industrial Pollution"?

It is the first pressing if it is called "400 Days Of The Year"

Hope this helps.

No, it's listed as Nine Types of Industrial Pollution......
I don't get the idea of side 1 with side 4 on the flip side though?

I've been getting interested in this again.
Here is a link to what I believe is the "standard" Uncle Meat booklet;
http://www.zappateers.com/bb/viewtopic.php?p=237050

Mine is nothing like it. I'm going to take some photos at the weekend and post them here 8)

Edit; this is the booklet that I have;
http://www.collectable-records.ru/group ... /uncle.htm

I also have the UK TRA release but that is another subject....

The one you have is the standard LP booklet. The one you linked to on the Zappateers site is a concert program.
