If you don't already know this site, it could be of interest. It contains interviews with Don Preston, Jim Pons and Jimmy Carl Black, all done about 2000/2001:

They all talk about their time with FZ and what they did before/after it. They are all very interesting and Mr. Moore did a good job in every interview (he asked the right questions).
Jim Pons talks about Jesus Christ, the Turtels, the fire in Montreux and FZ being throwen into the orchestra pit. Don Preston about his first selfbuild synthesizer and assuming, FZ had problems with the audiences, preferring the musicians solos instead of his compositions. What JCB talks about, I'll read tomorrow...
