I know there used to be an original thread in this same vein, but I can't find it. Oh, well...

You know you are a true Zappa fan when/because [fill in the blank]...

You choose your living room sofa according to conceptual continuity and base with its resemblance with the one on the cover of One Size Fits All...

No-one can say anything to you, without your singing back a bit of zappa which uses part of what they said.

You are what you said!

That would get annoying after awhile.

The "I, I, I, I, I" samples from Make A Jazz Noise Here appear randomly in your daily thoughts. You may even utter it once in a while.

when absolutely every single person you know knows you love Frank Zappa - and like was mentioned above - doesn't bother to ask what that apeshit music is anymore. lol

You read a biography of Woodrow Wilson just for the conceptual continuity of it...

you discuss the weight of former Zappa band members on the forum. How 'bout that Tommy Mars physique circa 1981?

LOL. OK, I said I wasn't going to talk about waste sizes anymore but I have always quietly noted Tommy's physique on the '81 shows with his half tank top giving us all a good peek (if only he'd worn just a regular t-shirt). He is much slimmer in later and recent photos.

George Duke is no skinny minnie either. Sorry to get off topic here but here's my all-portly Zappa band.

Bass-Roy Estrada
Keys-George Duke, Tommy Mars ('81 version)
Guitar-Ike Willis, Ray White, Mike Keneally
Vocals-Flo & Eddie (especially Mark)
Horns-Albert Wing (and odds are somebody in the Wazoo Band was packing a few extra pounds).

Dang, all the drummers were skinny. Maybe Chester? I don't know if this makes me a true fan or just an idiot.
