I've finally discovered what causes the CD play problems I have with Roxy and my ghettoblaster. My copy of Roxy n Elsewhere is printed off-center. As a result of that, my very old Erres CD player could only read the first three tracks, and now it turns out my ghettoblaster has issues too; because you place the record on a spindle and because the hole of my Roxy isn't in the middle, it can't get balanced enough.

This error was present in the original Barking Pumpkin release (both cassette and CD, I think) but was fixed on the 1995 Ryko release.

Not a compelling reason to upgrade.
