Haha, that's usually what it is for me. Today though, it's "turn, turn. turn, turn. we're turning again..."

"Wind up workin' in a gas station".3 times fast, then stir in Sheilas Gonzalas voice charging up behind,
"Pumpin' the gas every nigh-hi-height!"
"Pumpin the gas every nigh-hi-height
"wind up workin' in a gas station."
Repeat twice like a Zappa would. 8) :D

Not wishing to correct your German, but isn't it Laken (=sheets, which Zappa appears to translate, too), rather than lachen (=laughing)? It's obviously rather difficult to tell as Flo and Eddie's pronunciation is, er, a bit idiosyncratic.
If I'm right, I suppose I'm confirming your view that I'm the forum's one and only German

I think it might be Kiirk singing along in the middle of this song (2" 15 S.) after a few Becks.

Thats hilarious Caputh and just about the way I sing it drunk or sober! We learned it in 1st grade from Mrs.Clauson our teacher. She was German and married an American just after WWII.So now after some of that German, throw in some Frank,Flo & Eddie's plus Joe's Garage German, stir, and I'm most likely singing something along the lines of,Oh Christine you tree, throw another sofa on de fire! Then jizz on it,jizz on it twice.Come and keep my llammas warm. (E-klost en dinna blattier) It makes it's own sauce. I wish I new the words to some good German beerhall songs. Got any favorites on YouTube Caputh? :)

Edit; jpd, you're right.I can't spell in German or sing. Ah TomicBomb,Ah TomicBomb,Let's blow the world to pieces.Happy Zappadan jpd & Caputh. :D

That short "Go Hawaiian" sting Frank liked to use (As in "Drowning Witch"). We've been working our way through all the Babylon 5 episodes, watching one every day. The door chime used on the doors is the the first 4 notes of that "Go Hawaiian" sting. They ring alot of door chimes on that programme!

Did a booger-bear come from somewhere out there just to land in the Andes? Was she round and did she have a motor or was she something different? Guacamole Queen!Guacamole Queen! Guacamole Queen! At the Armadillo in Austin Texas, her aura, or did someone build a place or leave a space for Chester's Thing to land?

that was pretty nice to think about at work... beats the usual "i'm on duty!... i'm on duty!..." (repeat 60 times)
