You are right and it's been a while since she's been seen in these parts.

Of course, I was really refering only to the moniker of 'Aspy' being applied to those with Aspergers. I suppose that if it isn't considered derogatory by either party then it really is a non-issue.

I just happen to have some quirks with regards to language and the need to fit everyone and everything into clearly labelled pigeonholes (poor old pigeons...). Abbreviations becoming part of the vernacular also rub me the wrong way; like sandpaper on a cat. It was ages before I could bring myself to refer to my vehicle as a 'Chevy' as opposed to a 'Chevrolet'. :roll:

Well, Sam is a acronym (my initials), and as such is an abbreviation.

Andy Warhol also may have had Asperger's, according to Bob Coacello in the Rick Burns biography film.
