Why do we do it?
In order to survive, or
just can't help ourselves?

It's a hard knock life
Where only the strong survive
And the good die young

Pretentious words of
gratitude help to elude
the pain of haiku

If you read the article I linked at the top of this page, there was a stage when one word haikus were the thing, so I thought I'd have a crack. It's exactly how I felt at the time. Some of the teenagers I teach have little or no interest in Maths and have a very naive view of what to expect in the classroom. That's the uncensored version of what happens, anyway.

I'm spinning around:
but everything else looks like
it's spinning around me
