No "!" required and variations acceptable!

FZ - Lemme Take You to the Beach
At the freak-out
Later we'll peak out
You're on restriction
So you'll probably sneak out!

David Bowie - Moonage Daydream
Keep your 'lectric eye on me babe
Put your ray gun to my head
Press your space face close to mine, love
Freak out in a moonage daydream oh yeah!

The Stooges - No Fun
No fun to hang around
Feeling that same old way
No fun to hang around
Freaked out for another day

I was gonna say that album titles could count too, but amg showed 30 different ones, many I couldn't care less about. I heard the Bowie and Stooges examples above while listening to my ipod. If I google "lyrics freak out" I get Le Freak and others, but NOT the Bowie or Stooges. I think google is looking by title, where I'd like to know who is using the term in any of the lyrics... so who is the Google Master?!?!?!?!?!?

And if Google just can't do it, we may just have to wait until we happen to run across some more...

Oh yeah... I was about 10 years old when Le Freak came out and I loved it, sang it all the time... :)

Might have this one wrong but, there is an alternative version of Purple Haze in which Hendrix says Freak Out and Mary Had a Little Lamb during the fadeout? Might be part of the box set that came out a few yrs ago.

Ok this isn't from a song but its a could-be lyric or at least honerable mention from Jim Morrison's poem An American Prayer:

The reaction I get now thinking about it, looking back — is that the souls of the ghosts of those dead Indians... maybe one or two of 'em... were just running around freaking out, and just leaped into my soul. And they're still there.

Another one I just happened to hear on the ipod...

Todd Rundgren - Women's World

I must admit , I’m trying my best at being a ladies’ man
I a w w , Don’t nobody freak out - I a w w, don’t fight the feeling
I a w w, and your sure gonna love it - calm down everybody
I a w w and it always was!
No surprise that it’s a woman’s world – it’s a woman’s world

Don't be embarrassed about young music taste... A lot of people listened to crap music in their early years. Me, I was big on what Americans call Eurohouse (we just call it "house"). You know, 2 Unlimited, 2 Brothers On The 4th Floor, A Cappella, Culture Beat, Urban Cookie Collective...

Every Avenue: "You look so good when we're freaking out..."

Now I'm Freaking Out - Ween

Get me a sweater, it's cold
said the lady to the dwarf
fetch me some freedom soon,
or i'll be gone
left on a train for a place
not far from here
dwarf-man said 'thy work,
shall be done'

And now i'm freaking out (x4)

champagne, apricot,
amber and rose
squeezing my mind
when i feel the time
tree turned green after first freeze
and it looked like it was frozen
frozen

And now i'm freaking out (x4)

why can't this song go on
and on and on and on and on
if Bob, here says it was okay
okay
put on your shoes and smile
when you can
cause it looks like you were chosen
chosen

And now i'm freaking out (x4)

[noise solo starts]

And now i'm freaking out (x4)

Also, while I haven't heard it there is an album by Toro y Moi called "Freaking Out"

Google search is crap, it has no depth. Some web sites that have their own search use sophisticated ones with expert options and provide a model of the way a search should be provided. It seems to me that if anyone was interested to form an internet search engine that would threaten Google's superiority, that would be the way to do it - that is, come up with one that is actually much more useful.

R. Stevie Moore, veteran lo-fi experimental popster, has a song on his "Games and Groceries" album called "I Am Freaking Out".

Graham Coxon, former guitar player for the band Blur, has a great song on one of his solo albums, called "Freakin' Out".

FREAKIN' OUT

Who Scared You -The Doors

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZl2LoFrNaY

Who scared you? why were you born, my babe?
In two-time's arms with all of your charms, my love.
Why were you born? just to play with me?
To freak out or to be beautiful, my dear?
