It's just occurred to me that she might be talking about Erroneous aka Alex Dmochowski.

Yes. But it's only been 9 years that she has been out of touch with her "friend"

And your point is? It's not easy to get recent information about Alex Dmochowski, but I'm assuming he's still alive - according to United Mutations - and was thus alive in 1999 and could possibly have had a friend who lost touch with him sometime during that year.

Yea, he is alive. I hope to talk to him soon. If there are any burning questions anyone has, then I could ask him.

Maybe some people don't want to be found.

For those who want to know, Alex is alive and well. He lives in London but rarely plays now. He lived in Dorset for a while in the 90's and played with the Barrelhouse Band based in Sturminster Newton run by the late Paul Hart. If there are genuine old friends out there I can get in touch with him to ask if he wants to be in touch with you. E-mail me through our website barrelhouse.org.uk

I believe Alex is not the bass here, but in the Jean jacket playing the Gibson.

I sent a copy of this photo (when it turned up) to Victor Brox of the band he and Alex were in.. I thought it was the Bass player, but Victor rang me up and said it was the guitarist.

Anyone know who the two guys behind the girl is? The guitarist that is playing and singing and the drummer who is doing neither. Is that Ansley Dunbar on drums? I count four guitars, one being the bass,FZ has one.Who are the other two and Drummer? Oh! And the back-up singer.Who's who? Is this from '71? :? They must be making FZ happy,he seems to be enjoying himself.Nice.

Initially I thought it was the session for "It Just Might Be One Shot Deal", but then, FZ is with electric guitar, whereas the released version features acoustic guitar. The chick could be Janet Ferguson, no?
