I've seen the Steve Allen video, but I happen to know that Frank was also on the Ted Mack Original Amateur hour.

I know that one-time Mother Lowell George appeared on Ted Mack's show but I have never heard of a Zappa appearance. The only bicycle performance by FZ was on the Steve Allen show. You seem very insistent about your theory, are you sure you are correct?

I remember reading Loweel George say something along the lines of: "Frank and I go way back, we first met backstage at a talent show..."

Don't roll your eyes at me, I was being sarcastic. In my younger days I talked to quite a few people who swore they (or a very close friend) saw this event with their own eyes. Much like our friend here.

Ha ha! Over the years I've had the same experience,hence the rolling eyes.Please don't take offence TSC as your line pretty much summed up the way those assholes would say to me "You like Frank Zappa"? "I saw him shit onstage and eat it" All that was spewed forth at me with a look that said I want to fight,please call me a liar! To which I would respond " He didn't get it in his long beard did he".Them: " Yes and bla bla bla". Me: I know and now everyone else knows he's a liar.Then you get the people who want to empress you,so they foolishly say they saw FZ eat blah blah blah.Some of the people I've told the truth to,looked like I just told them Santa Clause was downed by an air to air missil while delivering toys thoughout the middle east! Alice didn't kill no chickens,FZ never pondered eating shit AAFNRAA.It's in his book,The Real Frank Zappa Book.
