How is this album different from the his other synclavier music?
Is it better or just different?

Better than Jazz, not as amazing as CP3. But nothing could be as amazing as CP3.

I listen to this CD and I want just to write that I needed to understand as I can "Dumb All Over" to get better music in this audio playing. Maybe it could help better listeners/musicians&compo to get it from in a longtime listener but not originalfreakoutiadmit. IMO its a piece of FZ audio almost live.
I apologize to disturb like this the life of "Zappa Albums" if there is anything negative

In my top 3, civ phaze 3 has better compositions but I hit track next on most the talking these days.

Monkies is great in that sense.

Jazz probably takes 3rd.

I love his digital stuff most.

I've only had this disc a month, and listened to it a few times. I've enjoyed it more each time. Think I'll add it to today's playlist.

I like his Synclavier stuff too, and find Monkies to be good each time I spin it.

I listened to it once. That seems to be enough.

I agree that is a great album, civ3 is a little bit ultimate. Music needs to be active that's why I listen to, hopefully, nowadays music as for instance "electronic and ugly" music. Data browsing asks sometimes skills, fresh sens emulation and a brain's way for expression.
