Holy shit! I've never heard that. One listen and I agree it's one of his greatest solos. Thank you.

We had a tournament. Son Of Orange County one. It's the best by winning.

And you have the nerve to pick on Sam-I-Am's typos!

Yo' Mama from SY is great, and there are some sick other live versions out there, as well.

I still think a solo which was on an acetate when FZ prepared the 10 LP boxset at the end of the 1960's. It later turned up bootlegged on Necessity is .. bootleg on Mudshark just before ..It sounds like this.. I had 2 copies of the bootleg, when I met a very important person I gave them a copy and placed a chalk mark at the appropriate place! I want this rather than harmonica fun.

Man, that Sleep Dirt sound check is gorgeous! Too bad a concert version didn't make it on one of the albums.

I'm partial to FZ's delicate playing so some of my favorites are Pink Napkins, While You Were Out, and Treacherous Cretins. Shut Up and Play Some More is probably my number one.

For down n dirty I'll take Pinocchio's Furniture.

For down and dirty I'll take Any Downers from 1975. The You Are What You Is version is completely inferior.

I am particularly taken by 'Waltz' found in amongst Paul Buff's archive, which is a solo over tracks FZ laid down. I believe it was found on an acetate.

For me, 'Rat Tomago' kills everything else FZ has ever done.
