Hi, My computer was being worked on. Hope all will be having a wonderful weekend. I finished Richard Wagner's book, "Only Women Bleed". He played with Alice Cooper, (and a few other greats) lead guitar, and singing. The book was very good, kept your attention, and I could not put it down for long. Richard was a lecherous, sleeze, but, he also may be a distant relation, because his grandparents were Wagners from Germany, and my Great Grandparents were Wagner's, originally, from Germany. So, I will just say, in reality, he was a character.

Two highlights: 1) Alice borrowed another Boa for his stage act, but, when he was wrapping the Boa around him, the Boa freaked from the lights, and noise, and started to squeeze. The crowd roared, they thought it was part of the act. Alice screamed and tried to call for help. The players all went running to him, and he was taken out back. (You guys can be so entertaining!)

2) Richard was in Europe at a swanky hotel. 2 stretch limos were in front of the entrance, bumper to bumper. The one in back was full of the Led Zeppelin players, shouting profanity, telling him to move, at the driver of the front limo. The were getting out, and about to assault the chauffeur, when, he told them, don't blame me for not moving, talk to my boss. He pointed up the stairway to the entrance, where stood,...George Foreman. Yes, you guessed it, Led Zeppelin backed up, and went around.

"So heavy is the chain of wedlock, that it needs two to carry it, and sometimes three." Alexander Dumas Fils 1824-1895

Quote:
"A woman we love rarely satisfies all our needs, and we deceive her with a woman whom we do not love." - Valentin Louis Georges Eugene Marcel Proust 1871-1922

Thoughts on Frank's Infidelity. Isn't it amazing how true these observations are, still, even after many decades?

Quote:
"The violence we do to ourselves in order to remain faithful to the one we love is hardly better than an act of infidelity". Francois V1, Duc de La Rochefoucauld 1613-1680

I presume he is talking about a guilty conscience. However, I don't think we should apologize for feeling love.

"And so the Tim Curry venture was short-lived, although very rewarding creatively. Tim is a prodigious talent and a multi-faceted artist, and I always enjoyed working with him. Tim went on to star in the hugely successful Broadway show, Spamalot, and in dozens of successful TV and film productions."

Dick Wagner's "Not only women bleed", has 14 references to Tim Curry. Also, if you like, look them both up on facebook. Dick Wagner has several sites.

I don't know if he would want me to connect with him, since I referred to him as a sleazy, lecher. I did say I liked his book, his honesty, and thought it all was captivating.

Dick detailed quite a bit of his sexual escapades, and I think the volume would sort of surprise anyone, when you stop to consider time, and energy. I think Dick was a real character, or regular card. It is very nice that he said so many kind things about woman.

I think it is possible to still view people on facebook, but, if you are outside of the USA, then maybe it is different.

Also, did you know, there are a bunch of Tim Curry videos' om Youtube?

"The best revenge is living well." George Herbert (Just thought I'd throw that in).

I found them, don't worry.

It's true that, except in the Netherlands where any reference to sex was butchered out of literary history by 19th century soul saver wannabes, references to and acceptance of extra-marital relations run galore throughout literature: Greek mythology and storytelling, the Gilgamesh epic, in medieval literature there's the Decameron which would make anyone's ears red ("if the woman's on top, it's not a sin").
Still, from what Pauline Butcher described, if he was mine he probably wouldn't have a nose to refer to as "honker" anymore. Gawd, such disrespect for bodily integrity.

Hmm. Why am I the perpetual single?

Hi, it's me again!

I am reading a biography of Johnny Winters, wonderful, and well-written.

Did you know he was making music with a certain Captain Kirk? Is there more than one? Will the real Captain Kirk, please stand up?

Also, think of being single, as an opportunity to appreciate a special freedom, that married people do not really have.

No, Kaptain, it was not good. That is why I am so dangerous.

I was trying to answer my Dutch friends' note on being single.

Do you know of another Captain Kirk, other than Startrek? I am waiting.

Johnny, and Edgar, seem quite serious about life, and music. This indeed, is a good book, I can feel myself gobbling up everything they say.

Johnny, and I had 20/400 in one eye, now tell me, is that a coincidence, or what?

Also, our schooling, and church were amazingly similar, sort of mind-blowing, along with places we have been.

Reminds me of Nina Ricci, L'Aire de Temps, Spirit of the Times, or Je n' sais croix, I can't quite explain the feeling.

Que Sera, whatever.

Shatner’s album features collaborations with rockers including Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Paice of Deep Purple fame, Peter Frampton, Johnny Winter, Michael Schenker, Steve Howe of Yes and others.

O.K., so be cryptic.

In 1977, I was in Charlotte, North Carolina, working at a certain French Restaurant. Star Wars had just come out, and I loved it. Of course I also watched Star Trek in the 60's. Just like Elvin Bishop, "I fooled around and fell in love". I wasn't foolin' a whole lot though, as I was working part time, taking ballet, and trying my best to be an American Princess.

Any way, William Shackner "Is just alright with me", but I absolutely loved Princess Leah, and her hairdo.

I recognize Peter Frampton, Johnny Winter, and I have heard of Deep Purple. After the amazing 60's, I went into the dark ages, and am trying my best to return to an era of light. Therefore, I simply do not recall certain songs, names, and bands. The best way I can describe the 60's is to say "it was so wonderful, there are no words to describe it".

I will never forget the music of Tim Buckley, and how he made me feel. (I think he was the greatest of them all, and that's why he died young, that and too much heroine.) And, if I do forget, someone, please remind me.

Do have a wonderful day tomorrow, and God bless

Your girl from underneath Virginia has either over done the dosage or has Sabertoothfairy syndrom, either way I am getting some pretty high readings on the Crapdetector and I'm 5-0 operating it on this website...

"There is no great genius without some touch of madness." Ascribed to Lucius Annaeus Seneca c.4-65 B.C.

"The most essential gift of a good writer is a built in, shockproof crap detector. This is the writer's radar, and all great writers have it." Ernest Miller Hemingway, 1899-1961

My friend, he is talking about looking into your own self, not accusing others. Do you recall anything about "Caste the beams out of thine own eye, first,..."?

I love the Johnny Winter book, I think Sullivan write this. She did well. Lots of references to Zappa. They crossed paths quite a few times. I am impressed with Johnny's dedication of his life to music. I may not be a genius, but I new he had genius I.Q. What I lack personally, I can admire in others. (That works very well for me).

Yes, some of my favorites, probably do make the gods, and powers that be, quite jealous.
