Zappa Cluedo Rules

1 Since Cluedo is a pun on Ludo, I prefer the international game name over the American name Clue.

2 Clue can be played by 3 to 6 players.

3 Every player picks up one of the 6 characters: Dinah-Moe Humm, Bobby Brown, Rhonda, Father O'Blivion, Ms Pinky or Mr Green Genes.

4 Object of the game is to find out which suspect, weapon and location are picked as the murder set and don't appear in the card packets.

5 Every player chooses a pre-set by yours truly packet of cards. The amount of cards in them is decided by the amount of players: when there are 4 or 5 players, it's possible that one player gets more cards than the other.

6 Play starts with Father O'Blivion, then Ms Pinky, then Mr Green Genes, then Dinah-Moe Humm, then Rhonda, then Bobby Brown.

7 At the start of the game. a player may move to a destination of his own choice. At subsequent moves, a player may either stay at the location where he was, or move to one adjacent to the one he is in: eg from the Purple Lagoon, one can move to the Motel Room, Mudd Club, Dupree's Paradise or City Of Tiny Lights.

7b: One can move from Big Swifty's to Laurel Canyon.

8 When the player reaches the destination of his choice, he will ask for a person, a weapon and a location.

9 The next person in line to play is asked for any of these cards. If he has at least 1 of them, he must show 1 and only 1 card to the asker in private, using PM.
If he has none of the cards asked, the next person in line to play is asked for them.

Leave a comment in the topic that says {your name shows card} if you have to show a card. Also leave a comment if you can't show a card.

10 One may accuse at any point during one's turn.

11 It is not allowed to not show a card you were asked for (unless you have another one of the asked cards, of course). Offenders will be chucked out the game.

12 I'll function as host. The host will know who has which cards and which set is the killer set.

13 Only compete if you can visit the forum every day, preferably briefly a couple of times.

14 Not responding for 5 days means you forfeit.

Very cool BBP. FYI, most people in the USA have not heard of Ludo or that Cluedo is the international version of Clue, much less a pun on Ludo. Now we do. FYI2, I'd really like to play, but I don't think I can commit to the time.

bonnie, this is a brilliant concept, the artwork is excellent, and the cards are funny. but like arkie, i can't commit to the time.
