I mean, have you ever listened to a FZ piece of music, maybe known from ages, and suddenly have the impression to listen to it for the first time, or in a very different way from what you were used to?

Today I rediscovered Pygmy Twylyte from YCDTOSA vol. 2

yes, it happens all the time. last month it was the 2012 remasters of sleep dirt and burnt weeny sandwich. currently it's jazz from hell.

The Nancy & Mary Music.

I listened to the 2012 reissue of CR over and over again and still remain with astonishment about how good that album sounds now. Prior to that I considered TN&MM being something like a filler track. Right at this very moment of typing this I listen to TN&MM and turned it all the way up. It is as if I'm at the TYRONE GUTHRIE THEATER in Minneapolis in 1970 right now with a time machine.

Always thought same thing. But after your words I'm going to listen to TN&MM with headphones, unfortunately the old Ryko edition.

Do yourself a favour, if you only want to buy one of the reissues, then it should be Chunga's Revenge.

and Sad Jane again. :-)

if you listen to it 50 times, after it you'll enjoy it more. And you'll want to listen to it again. :-)

Son of Mr. Green Genes shines like never before on the new remaster. Love it comparing to the Ryko-version.
