Did anybody else notice that the track "Redneck Eats" (on 200 Motels) contains an early version of what later became "The Black Page"? It struck me as I was listening to it yesterday, but I couldn't find anything about this connection anywhere on the web.

About 1:45 (on Redneck Eats). Listened to it again now (with less background noise :) ), and seems less similar than I thought, but it's still a phrase that distinctly sounds like a phrase from The Black Page.

BTW, another track on 200 Motels (Janet's Big Dance Number) contains the harmony later used in "Naval Aviation in Art?", but Zappa himself referred to Naval Aviation being written already in the 200 Motels period.
