My Cambridge Audio disc player gave up the ghost today. I now own a Pioneer Elite BDP-53FD.
Time to start buying Blueray, I guess.

Worked out that...
a) If I stopped smoking, I would save 130 Euros a month...
b) If I biked to work I would save 120 Euros a month...
Decided to try and do both.

Third day of not smoking. I must say the withdrawal symptoms are not exactly cold turkey in my case.
Have already saved 15 euros.

Kapt.Kiirk is the only one who answered the question "where will you be during the election that you need to file an absentee ballot' with "boldly going where no one has gone before..."

Withdrawal is, at most, an uneasy, restless feeling. I didn't experience any pain going through withdrawals.

Actually, I haven't even felt uneasy or restless up until now; only had a slightly sore throat.

Realised today with great pleasure that the very last bit of music on the Call Any Vegetable suite is actually The Royal March from The Soldier's Tale.
And there I was thinking for all these years how totally "FZ" it was.......

8 days of not smoking; shouted at the wife in the car today for giving me driving advice and nearly causing an accident, but wasn't sure whether the cause was...
a) me
b) the wife
c) a symptom of not smoking

It's just your body getting rid of all the nasty toxins...

Did I ever show you that article I translated from a book on tobacco, from 1896?

I took up the 100 Theme Challenge last month, with my comic characters Fred the Flea and Derek Dustmite. I finished that the other day and am now binding the booklet.
