Any owners of the Captain Beefheart Grow Fins CD Box Set who can provide me with the original retail price of the set when it was released in 1999?

I came across some information that stated the wholesale price was $40, but I can't find a reference to the original street price.

Thanks

I don't recall exactly but it was more than that. Maybe $80.00.

$59.95 about 5 years ago at amoeba records, might have been during a boxset blowout sale ... this was a 1999 release, cd sales topped out, single discs were averaging 15 bucks a pop so you'd reckon a 5-cd double hardshell exquisite package with very slick & informative 100-page bound-in glossy booklet & plenty of unreleased material would be in the $80-100 range based on $40 wholesale ... with a limited production of a few thousand [1000 ¿ ], the street price could easily crack $100 if local availability was geostatistical density-challenged

This has brought back great memories of when I bought it over here in the UK. I pre-ordered it and have kept the original cellophane wrapping that it came in (I'm a bit weird like that), I think it had a big black sticker on with gold writing. If I can find it and if it has the price on I will let you know.
It will of course be UK sterling.
Where did I order it from?

Thanks for the replies.

I recently purchased a copy for $60 (shipping included), which I thought was a very fair price based on current market prices.
