  How ugly can a sleeve design get? Looks like a cross between Guns'n'Roses and 'A Kind of Magic' to me. 1968 could be fun, though -- I'm hoping for some high-class YCDTOSA #5/WRMF sonics there.

Never. The live essence of the original Mothers is already there – on BWS and WRMF. It won't get any better or equally good.

It should fit in nicely between Electric Aunt Jemima, May 3rd 1968 and Our Man in Nirvana, November 8th 1968.

I was speaking of sound qualities, son. I never dreamt of the ZFT coming up with another Weasels, take it for granted.

Yeah, I thought "Alice Cooper" when I first saw the font... A new graphic crew would be nice indeed! Or better yet, CAL!!!!

Agreed. I make a living in graphic design and there's no way I would submit work like that in 2012. Distressed type is so 2010.

My guess is the whole Road Tapes series will use that cover art and the only change will be the venue and date. I would have rather seen a photo of the box the original recording was found in.

Or (crazy idea, I know) a photograph of the composer.

Mine was shipped UPS ground.

Has everyone else that got emailed a.) ordered same day delivery? b.) shipped UPS?

My guess is the release date is Friday and that is when I can expect it.

Tracking is not yet available.

I ordered the cheap ($13) USPS method. I can wait, if it saves me a buck.

I just got the shipping notice. I tagged on a bunch of other releases so being in Canada I should get it in about a month or so.

So feel free to post a track list :P

I'd go as far as saying it's so late-1990s.

I dunno, whenever I hear a designer complain about anothers work I find their work is sub-par.

Sub-sub-par, or infra-sub, in this case? <chuckle>

Yes, 'Steadman-ish', as Dio Fa rightly said on the first page of this thread:

Gotta love that Steadman! I have a large version in the 1994 Mojo special, but would love to have it spread over a 12" inch album cover. A double vinyl HIOS with some extra material, like the single edit of I'm the slime would be sweet 8)

I was looking up Steadman awhile back as he does all the art for the Flying Dog Brewery
http://flyingdogales.com/
was curious if he is a part owner or something (couldn't determine that)
but I DID find out he has NEVER sold a piece of actual art, he archives it all.
Very Interesting.

Wait a minute, I never said I was any good, I just said I make my living at it. You would be surprised what sells as graphic design. As long as the logo is big enough, my clients are happy and I can cash the cheque.

Found out mine was shipped yesterday no time to look at e-mail until today. This is pretty good, announce it one week, ship the next.

Here's what I am hoping, now that the UME agreement is moving forward, there can be a reasonable expectation of these releases and they get shipped soon after they are announced.

Thanks ZFT!
