It seems quite promising, I'm curious about it!

BTW: is there anyone here who is connected in any ways to the Zappa family? Because I'm really curious why they do not care at all about informing people about the happenings? About this show? About future releases?

It's not new, but hard to get used to: the very LAST place to get information about Frank Zappa is the official page. Not about the previous releases, but more surprisingly: hardly any about the new releases.

Why? They don't want to SELL things? I'm not whining, I'm really curious, and would like to ask anyone close to the family, to forward my question and get an answer. THNX!

That is promising.
I love this set list and I absolutely can not wait to hear this OCLT, and to hear Oh In the Sky with possible better quality than I currently have?
Yes, could be my fave new release since Joe's Menage.

I'll be more than happy if at worst these sound like some of the beat the boots releases. Next to proper live recordings the BTB sound pretty shit, but they are far from un-listenable.

I can't fucking wait for this pack to arrive! I ordered it with Wazoo, Hammersmith and a couple of Joe's ___ discs. Going to be some good listening!

(oh - it's funny that here we are talking about communication with the ZFT, and int this very moment the Vaultmeister appears on another forum, NOT answering or talking, only identifying someone behind a nickname. Not a big thing, but after all the banning and legal fights here and there, it just frightens me... Anyhow: why not getting in ANY conversations?...)

Material recorded this way is featured in some of the YCDTOSA sets and sounds lo-fi but fine. I'm still cream jeans over this release!

Imho i don't think there is a quality of any band live recording from 1968 maybe time killed it :D  i noticed though if a film crew was present they sound much better quality.

From 1968 there is also the tape from Whiskey A Go Go that Joe has mentioned as a possible release.

Then in 1969 FZ had Dick Kunc go on tour to do the briefcase recordings that made up most of Weasels Ripped My Flesh as well as YCDTOSA 5 disc one and a few other records.

I would have prefered this to Carneigie Hall. I'll wait for reviews.

My tracking says that I haven't ordered it yet. How did it know that?

Dude, for me, the total after shipping & taxes is just over $30. That's literally more than DOUBLE the price of the title itself. You don't find that insane?

Will that "Mothers @ the Whiskey" tape you found on that video you made be part of the "Road Tapes" series??

Just gave it a listen. Good/enjoyable sound quality. No Ray Collins (as some previously reported). Some of this set is already covered in Ahead of Their Time, but still definitely worth a purchase. Orange County Lumber Truck is the usual medley consisting of Let's Make the Water Turn Black/Oh No/Orange County (etc.). Trouble Every Day is incomplete. Octandre is pretty cool. Nice to have Hungry Freaks Daddy and Holiday in Berlin Suit.
