Got a call from my father who was lost and trying to get me to help him find his way on the phone. After 15 mins of confusion it became clear he was intoxicated and incapable of understanding my directions. I had him pull over and wait till I could find him. When I arrived it was obvious he was in no state to drive. He confessed to having taken Xanex with alcohol. Finally convinced him to ride home with me. Put him to bed and await his response in the morn.

No Kapt he's not hiding with me,he lives in the apartment behind my house.

Two unmarked S.U.V.'s & two cruisers in front of my house, two cruisers at the side of my house & two K9 cruisers behind my garage in the alley way.

I was told they had a problem with the guy in the apartment & to stay inside my house.

I was going to tell you all about my amorous encounter today, but now that I've seen MTF's complaint, I'll just tell you I've learnt how to crochet today. Finally!

I'm enjoying this...

Oh well.. I have time to spare now I suppose, am scanning for viruses and it will take forever.
Yesterday I visited the second-hand shop in Geldrop. At the book shelves I was browsing the art books, when suddenly the shelf collapsed while I was putting a book on it. Had a small heart attack.
A store worker saw it happen and reassured me that it happened a lot, since the book shelf support system is not suitable for putting the planks diagonally. Of course, since I've been coming there on a regular basis for years and never saw it happen, I took that with a grain of salt.

Five minutes later I'm browsing the children's books looking for Howl's Moving Castle, while the attendant is sorting out nearby book piles. One of the books is one of them squeezy gadgets, and attendant accidentally activated it. It played a loud tune, which startled the attendant, which caused him to drop the pile he was holding, which caused him to knock over another pile of books, which made a lot of noise.
"My heart's working overtime today," I quipped. Attendant talks to me on how many children's toys they had to get rid of, because they just don't sell. "It all has to do with the way we raise children," he said, then headed back to work.

As I'm checking the hobby section, a woman (who also was around when the first incident happened) walked into the nearby CD section and tripped on a floorboard, causing a tin cup she was about to buy, to fall out of her hand and onto the floor with a loud bang. Attendant and I are startled. He takes the occasion to talk to me continuously. And now I know his hobby is photography. Either that or he just said it because I had my camera hanging around my neck, waiting for snapshots.
