Th.

Every sane person understands that what Zappa did to his own albums, was horrible in most of the cases. But the ZTF seems to take his decisions as the final word on how these albums should sound. It's sad, because most of Zappas fans are longing for decent sounding versions of these albums, and now only gets a handful of them. Let us hope that is not the case.

I'm still hoping for a Project/Object Uncle Meat.

Here's what I want to know: Does the new Broadway The Hard Way have the Confinement Loaf rap restored to it? Maybe someone already said something about this, but I don't want to have to read all the pages going back a month. Yes or no?

sorry, can someone explain what the deal is with this? I have an early Ryko of this album, but I don't recall any track with this title on it.

It was a short speech by FZ about confinement loaf, only included on the LP.

OK, novelty freak. Go listen to your beloved Chad Wackerman-overdubs on Sleep Dirt and enjoy the historical revisionism.

I finally now have all the titles, that have been remastered from the analog sources. Strangely Joe's Garage was the only one that came wrapped in foil – the kind with the ribbon in it for comfortable unwrapping. They are all EU manufactured.

Strange! I've got 11 of the re-releases until now and as far as I remember, all of them were wrapped in foil. And I also got the EU versions.

Cool.

EDIT: Got Chunga's Revenge and Sleep Dirt the other day. There's a big difference between these and the earlier CD versions. They sound really nice, and I'm glad we finally got the original mix of Sleep Dirt. I don't miss the vocals.

Every one of the 2012 titles I bought had some kind of seal on the top edge of the case that was just a fucking bitch to get off and open. The tab would tear off and you would have to pick at it. Ugh, just the WORST!

Best Buy finally shipped my Mothermania yesterday. Should have by weekend. Of course now that they're sold out of them at the moment, the price has dropped to $9.99.

Ordered four titles just because I'm worth it.
