Hi! I've just bumped into a nice cd store in Prague, and they have like huuuge zappa stock there. but, all the CDs are zappa record editions.

now, I know that on lukpac I can find all the details about different editions, but I still cant decide on one thing.

I was thinking about getting Joes Garage for $20 / 16€ just because it's in a normal cd case. I hate that double cd case that ryko had.

So my question is: what are the differences in cd booklet from all these three, because I would love to buy zappa records version if it has all the relevant informations, pictures etc.

Same goes for uncle meat

thank you!

General discussion question:
Which cd versions do you preffer and why? :smoke:

You're taking the piss right? English is not this guy's first language and it's obvious to anyone with two brain cells to rub together that he's talking about Ryko ...

People have different tastes and different preferences on what it sonically presented to them. Some like Ryko and some like the reissues.

I'm just asking simple question. is there any differences in cd booklet, which I might miss if I get zappa records edition of joe's garage?

The 1987 Ryco of Joe's Garage has a lyrics booklet (colour cover with black & white inside pages)
The 2012 re-release has the same booklet, plus another booklet with all the colour artwork from the record sleeves of the original vinyl release.

Rynko theoretically could also be some joint venture of these both FZ-related companies:
