For the ignorant amongst us, would anyone care to explain the necessary process to extract audio from a legally bought dvd.

I would appreciate it.

Cheers.

Someone at ZFT's got very bad mental health.
And I don't mean the vaultmeister to make it perfectly clear.

I've nothing really new to add to what's already been dissected; makes little sense and/or could be interpreted as rather insulting, particularly at the cost set (I hope there isn't any such intent behind it).

Out of interest, however, can one still, and, if so, where can one find the previous Birthday Bundle downloads (preferably in lossless/.Flac)?

HOLY CRAP! It's 30€! Thirty!
That's actually ten euros more than I paid for the Baby Snakes DVD!

They won't be lossless/flac, but all are still available on i-Tunes.

Thanks; it is a shame they're not available in lossless but at least I can still get them if and when I should want. 8)

 DVD Audio Ripping software downloading now. For a $30 price tag on something that most fans already have, I can see why people steal music.

Thanks for continuing to cure me of the completist mania. I guess if I want to listen to Official Realese 95, I'll put Baby Snakes in my DVD player, which is already connected to my stereo, hit Play and not turn the TV on. Done. That being said...thanks a bunch for RoadTapes and Finer Moments!

Ps: I totally would have gone for this if it was under $15. $9.99 would have been fair.

Perhaps, this was a 'reaction' to the lack of interest in the thousand-dollar 'be-your-own-record-distributor' scam?

i'm okay with a download outside of iTunes. This is a pretty major release, it desreves flac.

you can make a nice flac audio version from the dvd :-)

Yeah! As they say in the Travel trade.....Been there, Done that! Of course you can, and of course you will. I've had the DVD on CD for years.

HOWEVER! the kids with no ears, trying to be very cool in the queue at the school cafeteria can now download this through I ('m tone deaf) -Tunes. Of all of those little guys and gals, there will probly be ONE, maybe three, who will "GET IT", and fall into the abyss of Zappadom. Zo it must be OK to do this because if we do it.....

BTW np Secular Humanism.....It's Bitchen!

So they're actually calling this "Official release #95"? It should have an asterisk next to it then. It's not a physical release. The DVD is already there. If the Dub Room Special & The Torture Never Stops DVDs plus the birthday bundle downloads are not part of the numbered discography then this shouldn't be either. So what's next, the Dub Room Special download for $24.99 which just clones the DVD?

Not that big a deal I guess, just a minor annoyance that I had to point out.

Goes to show again what a daft racket this numbering business is!

Loving the complete soundtrack...though the original abridged album is also a regular listen.

What they really should've done was delete all the dialogue non-sense and release all the songs as a deluxe CD / 2LP.
