I'm posting in here since none of my posts in the 2012 reissues are showing yet. Basically I have to do 10 nonsense posts to prove I'm human? All right.... :|

So how does this 10 posts thing work anyway?

I seem to have no way of knowing how many posts I have made, but when I get to 10, and assuming I "pass" (whatever that entails), do all of my 10 posts suddenly appear? If they do, do they appear as the latest posts in their respective threads, or do they appear at the time that I originally posted them (which would be kind of pointless as they would effectively be lost in the ether)?

Now I see that my post count has increased to 3 (4 now, including this one). So does that mean I am supposed to post all of my 10 posts in this one thread?

...I first heard Frank back in 1975 when I heard Cosmic Debris on the Alan Freeman radio show...

...This didn't prompt me to run out and buy the album as I was only a kid at the time...

...The next time I heard Zappa was when the Bruce Bickford-animated video for "City of Tiny Lites" was shown on an Old Grey Whistle Test all-night video marathon, circa 1979. I thought the video was great, but I didn't know anyone who had any Zappa albums, and still wasn't at the point where I wanted to spend what little cash I had on an "unknown" album...

...Then we jump to November '88. I had just started a new job, purchased a CD player and was feeling adventurous. I still felt like I didn't know anything about Frank Zappa's music, but I bought Tinseltown Rebellion on the recommendation of another customer near the Z section of a record store...

...I was hooked. Over the next few weeks I went back to the same store and bought one copy of every Zappa CD they had. There weren't many available on CD at this time, so I soon got to the point where I was eagerly waiting the next release. That's how it's been ever since.

My post count is now greater that 10, so I tried posting in a "real" thread and it didn't show up.

I guess I now have to wait for an email or something to let me know whether I have "passed" (and hope my suspiciously-spam-like posts are considered spam).

Soon there will be a knock at your door. (To facilitate the 'Spam-Chek' process it is recommended that you abstain from wearing pants at home until you are vetted)

Upon opening the door you will be greeted by a trained team of experts from the National Spam Regulatory Commission (NSRC). One of the team will hand you a doughnut. This is their badge of authenticity. No other identification is required. Under no circumstances are you to ingest, or in any way alter, the doughnut. It's the only one they have. Please return the doughnut once the procedure is completed.

During the 'Spam-Chek' authentication process it is recommended that you first grab a book and a pillow before bending over the arm of your sofa as this will take some time. At this point any resistance or abusive language will be regarded as a predilection toward possible spam-like tendencies and the procedure will have to be re-initiated.

While it may seem that the NSRC investigators are taking undue pleasure in this procedure please be assured that they do not enjoy it at all. It's just a job for them and they have been specifically chosen for it. Please ensure to have adequate supplies of mayonnaise available and to forward your calls to voicemail.

A small gratuity is recommended upon completion of the procedure.

Welcome to the forum!

Important Update! Please read!

It has been reported that a rogue NSRC team has been active in your area!
Unfortunately they are up-to-date with current protocols and are very difficult to identify before it's too late.

***If, during the 'Spam-Chek' procedure, you are offered a complimentary 'reach-around' for a small additional fee you are not in the company of NSRC mandated operatives!***

It is best advised that you do nothing to anger them. Perhaps you could offer to make them a sandwich. You're on your own at this point.

Please report any such visitations to the forum. In the meantime we are working night and day to improve our security measures and promise to have a sanctioned NSRC team to your door forthwith.

Than you and have a nice day.

Thank you for the clarification.

My posts are now showing up, so I will regard the imminent NSRC visit as a bonus.
