I, for one, am truly fascinated with every single one of your purchases Mr WalkerWalker. I love it when you post 300 album covers at once. It's riveting.
That last post seemed very restrained. I hope you are planning on buying a shitload of more records tomorrow. Try to get some Sonic's Rendezvous Band because Fred Smith is the 2nd greatest guitar player/songwriter of the 70s*.

*That's based on about 8 songs. We know who is number 1.

The Live one is all over the place. Lizard is alright. Particularly the first 3 songs. Happy Family is about the break up of The Beatles (who can be seen on the cover). Kick ass drumming throughout. I'd give you a dollar for it but I already have it.

Wait. You heard Patti Scialfa"s 23rd Street Lullabye before you ever listened to King Crimson Lizard?

Hey Arcee!

That came through my letterbox last week also.
Plus a box set of later Miles stuff-'Aura', 'Decoy' etc

The 'Warners' collection came at Christmas.
I like it, but not as much as the primo late-sixties/seventies stuff.
I have that completist bug I suppose-Miles is the only artist I have more of then FZ-gotta be well over 100 discs now.
There's also a package called 'On the Crest of Airwaves' which is worth checking out.

Thanks for the tip, Q - I'll have to check it out right now.

For me Miles' late 60's/early 70's period was his finest work
