Thought of that, but it's just not a good album. The posthumous live album "The Living End" from that tour is quite good though. As much of a fan as I am of The Jesus Lizard too, I didn't include "Blue" either. The only interesting thing on that is Duane's guitar work.

BBP - What makes you think Green Naugahyde will be the last ever Primus album? Saw them three times since that came out, they seem more into it than ever. Les has never said this is the last one. I'd bet within a year we'll get some new Primus.

Wasn't "Goodbye" the final Cream album?

I'll throw a few more out there:
Scratch Acid - Berserker (included on "The Greatest Gift" CD which has everything the band did)
Rapeman - Two Nuns And A Pack Mule
Harvey Milk - A Small Turn Of Human Kindness
Spirit Caravan - The Last Embrace
The Obsessed - The Church Within
The Hidden Hand - The Resurrection Of Whiskey Foote
Fantomas - Suspended Animation(Patton has hinted at an all electronic follow-up, but it seems to have fell by the wayside)
Ween - Lacucaracha
Sonny Sharrock - Ask The Ages
Last Exit - Iron Path

I thought last could also mean most recent.

By your own definition is this definitive?

Just teasing, I'm not having a go at you. Nonetheless, I'm curious about KC - has Fripp said he's done with it?

Pretty much he has said that, definitely the touring in a band part of it. I guess you never know with him, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Look at the Crimson Projekct tour of last year. Fripp stayed the hell away. From hearing bits of that Scarcity Of Miracles project, I don't know if I'd want another KC album. :|
I can't believe it's going on 10 yrs since PtB came out, seems like a few years ago.

The Power To Believe is none the less a damn fine album. The only reason I don't listen to it very often is that I wore the hell out of it when it came out. There isn't really that much new of that calibre going on anywhere and hasn't been for a long long time ...

I suppose this also counts as a best first album as well!

Rollins Band - Nice

As much as I love Rollins Band, I was disappointed with Nice -- it felt over-produced. However, I totally enjoy the live versions of those songs on The Only Way To Know For Sure.

Have you ever heard the outtakes disc called A Nicer Shade of Red? Some great stuff on there, with a more raw feel to it.

Gene -- Libertine

These guys went out at the top of their game with this album. It's a shame that they could never shake the comparisons to The Smiths.
