Very cool, Mental - I loved the Chicago show! I have to go out of my way to catch the Residents each time they come to town!

Everyone's in Chat deciding if it's thumbs down or meh. There is no thumbs up for this outrageous breach of a questionable lapse of taste. Were you on drugs? That might explain alot. Some drugs can make you cry watching Little House On The Prairie ya know. You gotta control your drugs, before they control you.Any cravings for Barry Manilow,Cat Stevens,Robert Planet lately?

Actually, it was lack of drugs that caused this inexcusable behaviour...I'm trying to rectify the problem

My Dad sold the Bee Gee's manager a car when I was a kid and I got some of their records
They were pretty good before they started jive talkin', and they had a sense of humour
If they'd joined Frank's band instead of Flo & Eddie you wouldn't be puttin' shit on 'em!

The Bee Gee's doin' the Groupie routine, that's what nightmares are made of

Over here it's called Happy Hour, drinks are half price for 2 hours usually,it depends on the bar.I should ask the German born beermiester/owner of the local brew-pub,The Sudwerks,to call it Dusseldorf Hour there too! :D

Since they kicked Jon Anderson out of the line-up 5 years ago, I'm pretty sure you didn't miss much...

Only the other 4/5 of the band with Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Alan White and the new singer Jon Davison...

Like I said, without Jon, no one is missing much (and I'm a BIG fan of Drama).

Also, they're TOTAL assholes for kicking Jon out of the line-up. He nearly died because of his severe asthma attacks, which sidelined him for six months. But they couldn't even wait for him to recover, and started using tribute band singers instead. That is HUGELY disrespectful and pathetic...

Yeah, tell me about being pathetic.

They did what they, the band, thought was right... Jon was holding Yes since 2004, he claimed he was not able to tour extensively, by medical order, after the 2008 incident. If they did not do that, there would be no Fly From Here album, which is very good BTW.

If they come here in May I will certain and gladly travel to see them in Rio.

Without wanting to start the whole Jon Anderson debate off again, the main problem with nowadays Yes is Alan White. The songs sound lifeless and dull live. As much an integral part of the band's sound that White is, his lack of drive lets the whole band down and the songs suffer. Really suffer. I know he's in his 60's, and it is easier said than done, but my point still stands.

I saw them with Benoit David and it was just horrible. Not because of BD at all - he was on form and did his job well - but hearing classics like Yours Is No Disgrace, Tempus Fugit and Roundabout played so lifelessly just made me angry.

Give me a break. After Jon recovered from his illness, he didn't want to play more than 2 or 3 shows per week (and still doesn't). But so what? They should've compromised for him. But they didn't and hired tribute band singers instead. And that alone shows why they're fucking assholes...

If he did Lucy And Ramona And Sunset Sam it would be worth the price of admission alone.

Steve Hackett Genesis Revisited in LaMirada California.

I'm going with one friend to this show, and we are really glad to hear that Steve has singer Nad Sylvan along for this tour. He has a nice Gabriel/Collins sound to his voice. Calprog contacted us for a meet and greet chance. So we're in the lottery for the after show. They say each person can get three items signed. The catch: only 60 lucky fans will win. The venue holds 1,250 and is nearly sold out.
