Made it back did the drive back in 2.5 hours, Mrs.Plook has become sick (cold or Flu, not supposed let this happen) so they refused her treatment today and will reschedule when she is better...she saw her doctor and they did her blood work she is stable. I let you know when I know more... :(

It was great I hooked him up at the Italian Joint... ...he got some old stories out of me, we were in the pre-Jurassic period... ...I will miss coming here... :(

Hell they sent me a request to be in NYC next wednesday to explain a new piece of equipment, I can't say no, but I need to hang with the wife for her treatment, so I am trying to train a guy on the east coast before wednesday...just need authorization...

Thanks for another great hang, Plook! Cheers....

(Funny part to me is that he recommended dining at the place I'm supposed to play a show at next Friday sitting in with a band)

Ha - no, on the weekends they turn it up a notch (but not too many notches now!) Still, a far cry from my faves.... general 50s/60s/70s/80s/90s.... "Elvis to the Chili Peppers". It pays some bills and keeps me busy.

Sounds better than a sharp stick in the eye...I'm doing the same sorta' thing every few weeks.Filming a few friends in these top 40 bands for extra bread.Sometimes it's a little boring but it helps me a whole lot,$$'s wise.
The guy in the flat below me just got his masters in Flamingo Guitar. He's restrung my old acoustic and is going to show me some exercises for my hand.I still got weak spots (from elbow op) and it's hard to hold a pen to write or a pick to play. It's the rt arm and of course I'm rt handed. This should help,I hope.
Glad y'all had a good time,I'll have to visit Chi town again sometime.I'd love to go to Buddy Guys place. You been there yet PIB? {-

At the restaurant they had a keyboardist that played classics like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc...I told PIB he should try and get that gig...LOL...

I have me yearly review this afternoon, I need to try and be sharp for it when I get back... :!:

Talk to ya all from the left coast later... :smoke:

You know, I have not been to Buddy Guy's yet. I've passed by it a million times, does that count?

Best of luck with your review, Plook!

A beer, a broad, a bong and a big bud.
Glad to hear it Plook, things are swinging my way too. Must be our clean California living. Maybe PIB can bust a move out this way sometime soon 'n breath some of this healthy air and soak up some west coast 'tude that keeps us so young and vibrant. 8)
I'm glad Mrs. Plook is feeling better.
