How do you read an oral history? D'oh! Nevermind.(confounded new gadgits & kidz stuff)

They write down the words that people speak. And then they put them into a book form.

Facinating and keeps the scribes imployed too!

Stranger in a Strange Land.

I started it roughly a year ago but got sucked into Phillip K. Dick, going back to finish it up.

Robert Heinlein once gave PKD a thousand dollars to cover the bills he was unable to pay and a typewriter to help encourage him to get out of his mental funk and lack of motivation and get back to writing once again. Nice guy.

Not gonna lie, I went down the wormhole of conspiracy theories a few years back. I heard of this and have always wanted to read it. Snagged a 1st edition on Amazon for $10. **just because someone goes down the wormhole doesn't mean they believe them....but this guy sure as fuck loves hearing about them**

And let the mind fuck begin.

Thanks dude!
I first went about 7 years ago, expecting to be underwealmed. How wrong I was!
Despite the tacky cheese it does boast some exceptional hotels and eateries.
Plus, my buddies and I are going to drive some diggers and bulldozers in the desert. Fuckin A!

A very interesting book. Speer's excellent on everybody else apart from himself IMO. Have you tried Sereny's biography?

Took a break from that dense ass Illuminatis! Trilogy and snagged this up. I've read all of Lovecraft's work, as well as a good amount of Derleth and Neil Gaiman mythos related works. I love graphic novels so I figured what the hell. Not the best adaptions, but there is some beautiful artwork.

Apparently the one I snagged is an alternate variant cover. I'm ok with that.
